A Sneak Peek at the New LAW Design Studio Collection
There’s always a quiet moment before a new collection begins to take shape, a space where ideas are still forming and nothing is fully resolved yet. Then there is the choas that follows. A messy studio and a messy mind. That’s where I’ve been over the past few weeks, working away in my Glasgow studio, slowly developing the next pieces for LAW Design Studio.

As a slow fashion brand based in Scotland, my approach to designing clothes is intentionally thoughtful and considered. Rather than working to fast trends, each collection evolves naturally — often beginning with a fabric that feels right or fabrics I have already that can be utilised, a silhouette I want to refine, or a piece I find myself needing in my own wardrobe. This slower process allows each garment to feel more meaningful, wearable, and lasting.

This new collection focuses on versatile, timeless womenswear designed for everyday life. I’ve been drawn to relaxed shapes, soft structure, and natural fabrics that feel comfortable while still holding their form. These are pieces designed to be worn again and again styled simply, layered easily, and lived in. This is what you asked for in the last questionnaire I posted.

All LAW Design Studio garments are made in small batches in Glasgow, supporting a more sustainable and responsible way of producing clothing. By keeping production limited, I’m able to stay closely involved in every stage of the process, ensuring quality, fit, and attention to detail. It also means each piece remains unique, with only a small number available in each size.

As the collection continues to develop, I’ll be sharing more behind the scenes — from fabric choices and fittings to finished pieces ready to wear. If you’re looking for slow fashion made in Scotland, or timeless wardrobe staples designed with care, this next collection is one to watch.

Thank you, as always, for supporting independent design and choosing to shop more consciously.
