We were chatting about the Scottish weather at this time of year and how our Elly wool cardi's have not been off our backs. So we thought it would be nice to introduce you to Kirstie as well as her love for her wool Elly

Kirstie: "My hero piece for a Scottish spring"

"
I haven’t taken my Elly off this year, not just because of the gorgeous colour and fit, but because it’s brilliant in all weather.
Living in Glasgow, I get to enjoy the thrill of unpredictable weather when transitioning from winter to spring. Made of boiled wool, the Elly is naturally water-resistant, so a saviour when caught in Scottish showers. Elly keeps you snug when layered in a cold wind and acts as a great wee cardigan to keep me warm in my chilly tenement flat. It also saves me on my energy bills as wool is naturally anti-microbial, meaning it rarely needs washed.
I’m getting excited for the warmer weather ahead as today I got a chance to wear my Elly as a summer jacket in the warm sunshine. It really is the hero of my wardrobe.
We only have a few remaining styles left in Elly in wool - Click here for what is left in the black and brown colourways.
