Style vs. Trend: Dressing for You

Style vs. Trend: Dressing for You

Style vs. Trend: Dressing for You

In a world of fast fashion hauls and micro-trends that change with every scroll, it can be hard to know what to wear. One minute it's ballet-core, the next it's quiet luxury, then suddenly everyone's in cowboy boots again. But through all of that noise, one thing always stands out, Style.

Trends come and go. They're designed to. They reflect a moment, a cultural shift.

But style? That’s yours. It's personal. It’s the way you throw on a top that fits just right, or the fact that you've worn the same boots for 10 years because they make you feel like you. I know that any time I try to get dressed up for a night out and stick on heels I immediately don't feel like myself.

When you think of people who have true style, it’s rarely because they follow every trend. It’s because they know who they are—and they dress in a way that reflects that.

Take Winona Ryder. She is one of my all time fashion icons. Her look has always had this effortless edge—grunge without trying, minimal but never boring. Whether she’s in a vintage tee or a sharp suit, she feels completely herself. She doesn’t chase trends; she defines them without meaning to.

At LAW, we believe in making clothes that become part of your style story—pieces that feel like you, not just what’s popular this week. Clothes you reach for again and again. That’s the old-fashioned way we like to do things: less noise, more meaning.

Did you know you can book into the bespoke slots to make something thats exactly your style? They open at the start of the month so keep an eye out for available spcaes.

So next time you're wondering what to wear, maybe skip the trends and ask:
“What feels like me?”

Chances are, that's where your style lives.
